ISSI/ISSI-BJ 2026 Joint Call for Proposals for International Teams in Space and Earth Sciences
The International Space Science Institute (ISSI) in Bern (Switzerland) and ISSI-BJ in Beijing (China) invite proposals for establishing International Teams to conduct collaborative research in the Space and Earth Sciences at their respective meeting facilities.

The 206 call for ISSI/ISSI-BJ International Teams has just been released, with a proposal deadline of March 13, 2026.
This call is open to all scientists, regardless of nationality or institutional affiliation, who are actively engaged in research in any of the following fields: Astrophysics, Heliophysics, Planetary Science, or Earth Sciences. To be eligible, research projects must make use of data from space missions. Where this adds scientific value, projects may also draw on complementary ground-based data and/or theoretical modelling.
ISSI and ISSI-BJ host International Teams in an open and interactive environment, providing high-quality facilities and covering local expenses for meeting participants through accommodation and per diem support.
Two virtual Q&A sessions for proposal preparation will be offered on Wednesday, February 18:
