Call for Papers: Symposium on Living Well in Mountains at the Swiss Geoscience Meeting

CIRM, MRI and FoLAP are organizing a symposium on Living Well in mountains at the 22th Swiss Geoscience Meeting on 9th November 2024 in Basel. Contributions from all fields of study are welcome.
The Interdisciplinary Centre for Mountain Research (CIRM), the Mountain Research Initiative (MRI), and the Forum Landscape, Alps, Parks (FoLAP) invite you to participate in the symposium "Living Well in Mountains." This symposium focuses on the necessary transformations in mountain regions, using the concept of "Living Well" (Bien vivre, Buen vivir, Sumak kawsay) as a shared value embraced by many.
We invite contributions from across the geosciences and beyond to explore avenues for research and collaborative exchanges that further this interdisciplinary dialogue.
